For battle minigames in Mario Party 8, what are the chances it will be a 50-coin-per-player battle?
I've played a lot of Mario Party 8, and I can't seem to ever remember having experienced the battle mini game being for more than 20 coins per player (and usually it's 10 per player).
Does anyone know what the chances are for a 50-coin-per-player battle (and maybe the others as well)?

generally if more people have a higher number of coins it will select a bigger pot. I can't confirm this because I haven't played in a while, but the earlier mario parties were definitely set up that way

Is this even something that could be tested for? I mean, there are many variables in this, such as the turns for the match, turns left, coins in circulation, and the Random Number Generator. I would like to say, if you wanted to test this, I'd recommend starting by increasing the turns in a game. This will allow for more chances at 50 coin matches, and more chances to get coins, because a 50 coin match in my experience hasn't happened unless at least 2 people could pay the full price.

Well, if someone had the time it would certainly be possible to use the (highly) experimental Wii U Emulator Cemu and do some automated testing. Super-Computers are rather cheap to rent nowadays, but I would still consider waiting until Cemu is more stable.
