Is Apex Legends CPU or GPU bottlenecked for 144hz gaming?

0

I'm trying to figure out a cost-effective way how to upgrade PC to play Apex Legends to run at stable 144hz:

  • Resolution is important. (for spotting enemies at distance)

  • Almost everything else as LOW as possible to maximize FPS.

Is i3-8100 + gtx1050 Ti at 1080P going to get stable 144hz?

Is i5-8400 + gtx1060 at 1080p going to get stable 144hz?

What's the most cost effective way to get 144hz in busy fights at (1080p or 1440p or 2560x1600) with all other settings on low?

(Currently running on i5-2400, hd6950 at 1280x800 or 1440x900, 30-40 when jumping and 50-100fps on ground and 45-70fps in the busy areas fights.)
