Advanced military guide
Usually, when I fight, I make sure I have more numbers before engaging; ideally 2-3 times more.
But, I guess it is time to master and improve. A few months ago I saw an article which described different tactics available for different cultures based on Commanders military rank and army composition.
Anybody can help to find those? I can't find anything better than this: https://ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Combat_tactics, but even it has Culuture specific tactics, there is nothing there that is related to Slavics..? Do Slavics/Russians have any tactics?
In particular, I'm trying to understand, what retinues to build? Should I balance and have all them equal? Or concentrate on the heavy infantry only (as Slavics have building with bonuses to it)? Do I need archers to boost heavy infantry? If so, how much?
